Reporting to the Clinical Director of Critical Care and partnering with unit leadership and Clinical Education, the CVICU Nurse Educator designs orientation, validates competencies, delivers regulatory and safety education, advances unit and hospital quality initiatives, maintains education records, contributes to interviews and evaluations, and builds individualized learning plans. Typical qualifications for the CVICU Nurse Educator include a BSN (MSN preferred), over three years of relevant RN experience, expertise in staff development/adult learning, and a current Maryland RN license.
